The avenue commemorates those who have undertaken the Australian Stockman`s Hall of Fame Endurance Ride from Winton to Longreach from 1980 to 1988.
The plaques on the wall list the names of those who participated in the Endurance Ride as well as a plaque recognising the services of R .D. (Dick) Law, founder and chairman of the event
